Knowing about my obsession with all things photo mosaic related, a friend recently sent me to the Instagram account of a 25-year-old Italian artist who creates uncanny Rubik’s Cube Mosaics of celebrities! These Rubik’s Cube Mosaics are made up of 6 colors and hundreds of. But higher the mosaic dimension, the larger you have to print it in order for you to be able to see each small picture. For example, if you plan to print your mosaic 10 by 10 inches, and you set your mosaic dimension to 100 x 100 tiles, your small pictures are going to be just 0.1 x 0.1 inches tiny, and you really won't be able to see any of. The mosaic was the best of both worlds: free form social content with the control of onsite photo capture and moderation. Oscar Mayer created a mosaic that featured their iconic Wienermobile Individual photos in a mosaic reproduced artwork commemorating Autumn Moon. A photo mosaic is a mosaic which consists of many small photos. Viewed from a distance, the small photos merge into a large overall picture.
